Wenger Hydrogen purchases another PEM electrolyzer from H-TEC SYSTEMS

Hydrogen company H-TEC SYSTEMS training apprentices for the first time.

Augsburg, 13th September 2022 – A total of three young adults have started their vocational training at H-TEC SYSTEMS in Augsburg. The company offers training in the field of mechatronics as well as technical product design. The hydrogen specialist thus covers an important qualification need for young professionals in the popular market segment of renewable energies and the use of system-relevant future technologies. Training capacities at H-TEC SYSTEMS will be further expanded in the future.

„This year, for the first time, we are welcoming three new trainees to H-TEC SYSTEMS and are looking forward to successfully accompanying and supporting them in the coming years as they make a start in their professional lives. In cooperation with MAN Energy Solutions, we have developed a training concept that prepares our young professionals for the innovative work environment in the best possible way,” says Larissa Schultze, Training Supervisor at H-TEC SYSTEMS.

The technical trainees at H-TEC SYSTEMS spend their first 18 months in the MAN Training Center where they learn the basics of technical training. “ We are delighted to be able to share our long-standing experience in the training of highly qualified young professionals with our colleagues at H-TEC SYSTEMS,“ says Jörg Widemann, Head of the MAN Training Center. „Hydrogen is a future-oriented topic – for MAN Energy Solutions and for society as a whole, and it’s great that we are also involved in the company’s decarbonization strategy through our training programs.“

The young professionals will complete the second half of their vocational training directly at H-TEC SYSTEMS and thus put the knowledge gained during their training straight into practice. The trainees will thereby experience different areas of the work environment at the company.

For the hydrogen company itself, the training of its own young professionals is an important success factor. “The hydrogen industry is developing very rapidly. In order to be able to fully use the potential of the energy source of the future, we need suitably qualified specialists in this area,“ explains Michael Kraus, HR Manager at H-TEC SYSTEMS. “The energy transition is an important issue for young people in particular and is also playing an increasingly important role in career choices. We are extremely pleased that we are now giving three young people the opportunity to make a direct contribution to the energy transition with their career start.”

Technical innovation along with the development of corresponding specialist knowledge in the field of hydrogen technologies have been core competencies at H-TEC SYSTEMS since the company was founded. As technological pioneers with over twenty-five years of experience, these specialists help shape the hydrogen economy and work for a successful energy transition across all sectors.

With the start of this apprenticeship, the application process for the training program for 2023 now also begins. Students who are interested in vocational training at the hydrogen company can find out more on the firm´s website at www.h-tec.com/karriere.
