The market leader for rechargeable battery and EV technology presents insights into the company’s zero emission approach from solar energy generation to energy storage and emission free e-mobility

Shenzhen/Munich, May 15, 2023 – BYD Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest manufacturers of rechargeable batteries and global market leader for electrical vehicles, will present an overview on solutions within the company’s zero emission portfolio at this year’s EES (electrical energy storage) exhibition as part of “The Smarter E Europe” from June 14-16. Highlights of this year’s exhibition at booth B1.130 – 131 include the introduction of the new energy storage solution BYD MC CUBE for commercial and industrial (C&I) applications, the latest models of the BYD Battery-Box series, as well as examples of the solar generation and electric vehicles portfolio.

Zero Emission portfolio represented at EES

Will be represented at the booth with the fully electric vehicle BYD HAN, which is powered by the BYD Blade Batteries. There will also be virtual presentations of other BYD EV models and the latest technical innovations such as “three wheels driving” functionalities, a car that turns on the spot or the highly integrated

e-Platform 3.0.

BYD Energy Storage

The new C&I storage solution BYD MC CUBE, that will be launched at EES Europe, features the same BYD Blade Battery technology, that is used in the BYD EVs. The BYD Blade Battery is the world’s only lithium battery which has passed all safety tests, including the nail penetration test, without safety risks caused for the system. This sets a new safety benchmark for both the EV and storage solutions.

BYD Battery-Box – 500,000 installed systems

The full range of the BYD Battery-Box Premium product portfolio will be presented at the booth – including the high-voltage models BYD Battery-Box Premium HVS (5.1, 7.7,10.2 and 12.8) and BYD Battery-Box Premium HVM (8.3 / 11.0 / 13.8 / 16.6 / 19.3 and 22.1) as well as the low-voltage model LVL (15.4) and LVS (4.0 / 8.0 / 12.0 / 16.0 / 20.0 / 24.0). All models feature a modular design and thereby offer a high flexibility and scalability. They are also capable of high-power emergency-backup and feature both on- and off-grid functionality. The battery systems rely on BYD’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) technology for maximum safety, life cycles and power while it meets the toughest industry standards, such as the VDE-AR-E 2510-50 safety standard.
